An ambitious and performance driven development professional, I performed in areas- Eco-innovation, GHG accounting and management, Carbon Sequestration (agro-forestry), Carbon Neutrality, Adaptation in private sector, CSR, Capacity building, Policy impact analysis, GRI reporting, Networking & coalition building; Stakeholder consultation, Business development, Proposal and Report writing. Trained in ISO14001, OHSAS and GRI, I supported more than 80 companies for development of environmental impact assessment & management plan, GHG accounting & management and preparation of low carbon development pathways.
I headed Center for Climate Change, ESCI for 6 years, have researched & directed various national and international projects (from UNIDO, BMU, Shakthi Foundation, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Ministry of Chemical & Fertilisers, Government of India), delivered invited lectures in various countries and served at UNFCCC focal point for RINGO Observer. For capacity building of working professionals, I designed & developed 20 innovative training programmes and trained about 1200 professionals; directed various conferences on Climate Change (2008-2013) where I received support from German & Australian Embassy, Ministries and Government departments. I have a unique capacity to lead multiple activities with adherence to goal, brand value and quality result.

Have attended COP 17 & COP18 UNFCCC meetings and delivered presentation during SBSTA38 / SB38, UNFCCC, Bonn in June 2013.

I received DAAD fellowship (2009) to reaserch on 'How to achive the organized pollution control in emerging mega-cities?' at Humboldt University, Berlin.

Received Fulbright-Nehru Environment leadership fellowship to research in 'Adaptation stratgies for urban areas' at Earth Institute, Columbia University, New York, USA.

I am a Chevening Rolls-Royce Science, Innovation, Policy and Leadership fellow (2014) and attended executive education programme on science, policy and innovation at University of Oxford, UK.

I wore many hats in my career— team leader, head of department, environment management consultant, network & coalition builder, lecturer, researcher. As a result, I have strong capability to navigate challenges. I initiated my career as a researcher at National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Government of India and worked at three different organisations before joining Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in July 2014
